Our “Spike” lavandula latifolia lavender oil is the less common co-parent (with lavandula angustifolia) of lavandula x intermedia varieties. The plants produce an exceptional amount of oil, but it has an extremely high camphor content which makes it more intense than any other lavender oil we offer.

All of our essential oils are steam distilled by hand at our farm in Sequim, Washington. We use only our organically farmed lavender, and distill in small batches using our copper still. Because a little goes a long way, our 100% pure “Spike” lavender essential oil is great for products and candles, and the high camphor makes it great for topical medicinal treatments. This intense oil is not recommended for aromatherapy.
